- How does SparkBetween work?
- SparkBetween gives each partner a private, linked access code. You each fill out the questionnaire independently — your individual answers are never visible to each other. Once both partners complete it, our AI generates a personalized Mutual Discovery Report showing only the topics where your interests genuinely overlap.
- Is my data private?
- Absolutely. Your individual responses are stored securely and never shared with your partner. Only mutual interests — things you both expressed curiosity or enthusiasm about — appear in the shared report. Anything you said no to stays completely private, always.
- How long does the questionnaire take?
- Most people complete it in 30–40 minutes, though you can save your progress and return at any time. There are 278 questions across 15 dimensions of intimacy, so there's no need to rush — take the time you need to answer honestly.
- What happens after we both complete it?
- Once both partners have submitted their responses, you'll each receive access to your Mutual Discovery Report. The report highlights areas of shared excitement, mutual curiosities, and complementary desires — all framed as an invitation to explore together, at your own pace.
- Can I change my answers?
- You can update your answers at any point before your partner completes the questionnaire. Once both submissions are in and a report has been generated, answers are locked to preserve the integrity of the report.
- Is this based on real research?
- Yes. SparkBetween's framework draws from peer-reviewed research published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, Dr. Emily Nagoski's responsive desire model, and decades of clinical sexology. Our questions were developed in collaboration with relationship researchers and reviewed by certified sex therapists.
- Who created SparkBetween?
- SparkBetween was founded in 2025 by a team of relationship researchers and clinical sexologists who believed that honest, guided self-reflection could transform how couples communicate about intimacy. We're a small team with a deep commitment to privacy, science, and care.
- How much does it cost?
- SparkBetween is currently free during our beta period. We're focused on refining the experience before introducing pricing. We'll always give existing users advance notice before any changes.
